Anthropic: Claude writes 80% of its code, warns of recursive self-improvement
Anthropic disclosed that Claude now writes more than 80% of its production code and published internal research suggesting a path toward recursive self-improvement, including data showing its Mythos Preview model can operate autonomously for at least 16 hours.
