Stability AI Brings Nine Image Editing Tools to Amazon Bedrock
Stability AI has launched a suite of nine professional image editing APIs on Amazon Bedrock, giving developers and enterprises granular control over creative workflows on AWS infrastructure.
Stability AI has launched its Image Services suite on Amazon Bedrock, making nine professional image editing tools available as managed APIs on AWS. The suite includes tools for precise edits like inpainting, object removal, and recoloring, as well as generative controls like style transfer and sketch-to-photo conversion.
The launch builds on Stability AI's existing Bedrock integration for image generation models like Stable Diffusion 3.5. With these new editing APIs, creative teams can now handle full end-to-end workflows—generation and refinement—within a single cloud platform. The tools support iterative editing, letting users tweak specific parts of an image without regenerating the entire thing.
For builders, the key draw is the API-first design. The services integrate directly into existing content management systems and creative pipelines without requiring teams to manage underlying infrastructure. Enterprise customers like Mercado Libre and HubSpot are already using these tools in production, according to Stability AI.
The Image Services split into two categories: Edit tools for targeted modifications to existing images, and Control tools for generating structured variations. Developers can access them by enabling Stability AI model access in their Bedrock console and setting up the appropriate IAM permissions.
