About this model
Hunyuan-Turbo is Tencent's flagship — a 389B-parameter MoE with 52B activated per token, released under Tencent's Hunyuan Community License (a Llama-style permissive license with restrictions on the largest deployers). Hunyuan powers Tencent's Yuanbao consumer assistant and is increasingly used inside WeChat features.
Tencent has been more aggressive than peers on releasing model weights — the Hunyuan family includes general chat, image generation, video generation, and 3D-generation variants, all open. For Chinese enterprises wanting an open alternative to closed-weights Doubao or ERNIE, Hunyuan is the natural pick.
